Estonia interested in Nordic Kitchen Manifesto

The Steering Group of New Nordic Food II has received a letter from Estonia Tourist Board.

Estonia sees possibilities in the New Nordic Food Manifesto and över 200 people in Estonia have already signed it “and are keen to apply the New Nordic Food values in their work and everyday life that relates with food”.

- The New Nordic Food Manifesto, or the Nordic Kitchen Manifesto, has been a very inspiring document in all the Nordic countries, but also for people working with food in countries far from our borders. This is not so much due to the actual content, which is linked to our Nordic situation, but because of the strong desire to see the potential in a certain area and to make something good out of it. As you know this has worked in the Norden Region and it will also work in Estonia, which is very close to the Norden Region, says chairman Lena Brenner, New Nordic Food II.

- The Steering group of NNF II will now take Estonia into account in our work. This means that we will encourage our project managers to also invite Estonia to their events and to build networks that stretch across the Baltic Sea, concludes Magnus Gröntoft, New Nordic Food.
