Nordic Sound Bite in London - The taste of your favorite tune

07-11-2013

Nordic Sound Bite and food program at the Ja Ja Ja Festival, Roundhouse, London, November 8-9 2013. A pilot project about food and music with New Nordic Food II in collaboration with Nomex, the Roundhouse and the Nordic Embassies in London.

A range of innovative cuisines and food experiences will be offered during the Ja Ja Ja festival in collaboration with New Nordic Food II. These will include ‘Nordic Sound Bite’ - a concept that partners musicians with food artists to create the ultimate collaboration between music and food, plus a menu designed by leading Swedish chef Herman Rasmuson. Not only that, but the Roundhouse will play host to a Nordic Fika and a pop-up stall from Tommi’s Burger Joint!

Nordic Sound Bite - The taste of your favourite tune
The ultimate collaboration between music and food, where emerging Nordic food artists will design and present a special ’sound bite’ based on their favourite band’s musical DNA. Nordic Sound Bite is to be experienced live and the tastes will be made available at a select number of performances, from the likes of Mew, NONONO, Sin Fang, Sakaris and Kid Astray. Curated by Danish designer Nikolaj Danielsen.
