Sigrún Elsa Smáradóttir is educated in Business Administration (MBA) and food science (BSc) from the University of Iceland. Sigrún has years of experience in planning and implementing marketing campaigns and has broad experience in restructuring operating units, planning and implementing major reform’s in both the private and public sector.
Sigrún Elsa is a research group leader at Matís, Business Development unit, her work manly involves internal and external strategy and policy projects, business development projects, e.g. analysing, match making and marketing. She has participated in the working group of New Nordic Food since midyear 2012.
